Out of warranty goods being returned because they are faulty: If a new product is bought and found to be defective after the 6 month period from the date of purchase but still within the manufacturer warranty, then the goods will be returned to the manufacturer for inspection and determination on whether goods will be repaired, replaced or refunded. This can only be done once goods have been returned to, and inspected by the manufacturer.
